The Learning Leaders Advisory Board brings together senior learning and development leaders from Fortune 500 companies to inform curriculum development, share emerging industry trends, and create pathways between academic preparation and professional practice.
Board members contribute guest instruction, practicum opportunities, and real-world project engagement — ensuring the M.S. IDT program remains tightly aligned with the competencies most sought after by leading organizations.
Corporate Internship Partnerships
Since 2019, the M.S. IDT program has facilitated 100+ student internship placements with major organizations including The Home Depot, UPS, Delta Air Lines, AT&T, and TrainingPros. These immersive, hands-on experiences allow students to apply instructional design principles in real enterprise learning environments.
The Home Depot partnership has been particularly productive — achieving a 67% hire conversion rate as interns transition directly into full-time learning and development roles upon graduation.
